Elon Musk is one of the biggest trendsetters in the modern world. Whenever he does something or unveils something it becomes viral. So when he unveiled the Tesla CyberTruck it came as no surprise that it became viral.

While the e-truck is dividing opinions everywhere it is certain that the company got what it needed. Whether you like the design or hate it there is no denying the fact that the CyberTruck looks something out of a dystopian science fiction novel.

The design was so captivating that designers from everywhere are getting inspired and making things with design patterns like the CyberTruck. One of those who was inspired was a designer from New York called Lars Buro.

What he did was create the designs for a smart garage called the Cybunker. While it is perfect for the CyberTruck this E-bunker is more than just a simple garage. So here is what we know about the Tesla Cybunker Garage.

What Is The Cybunker?

The Cybunker is a 1,800-square-foot space that was designed by a designer from New York named Lars Buro. It was designed to serve multiple purposes. You can use it as a hi-tech depot, an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit), or an off-grid residence if you want.

The building is wedge-shaped and the initial design shows that the entire roof is covered with solar panels that store electricity in batteries within the space. These solar panels are what is going to provide power for the Cybunker. If you look at the design and obviously the name it’s easy to see that this smart space was inspired by the CyberTruck.

What We Know About The Interior

From the first look and the initial reports, it’s clear that the Cybunker was designed to be much more than your average garage. Well, it was revealed that the regular Cybunker is supposed to have 600 square feet of parking space within it.

The rest are going to be used as living quarters. Well, at least that’s what we have seen in Lars Buro’s renderings. However, when it does come out we should be able to know more. Most probably the customers will be able to customize the smart garage space as they need it.

So whether you need a smart garage for your CyberTruck or a storage unit, a living space, or an office you should be able to get what you need. Since it’s relatively new the Cybunker price still remains a mystery but hoping that within the following months there will be more information on the price.

When Will The Cybunker Get Released?

So a few weeks back one spokesperson for Lars Buro did say that the Cybunker is currently going through its engineering phase. This means that they are still building the prototype for the smart garage/living space.

So we do know that it is intended for production and is not going to stay as a concept art forever. And as for the price, specs, and availability, well that should be rolling out slowly sometime this year. Hopefully, we will know sooner than later.

But one thing you can be pretty sure about is the fact that it will cost you a pretty penny. While nothing is confirmed but given the design aspects and the technology it is reported to have and along with that, the Cybunker’s ability to withstand all weather conditions suggest a steep price.

However, if you look at today’s real-estate then you will see that nothing is cheap anyway. And compared to the market the Cybunker may just as well be a bargain. But let’s see what 2020 has in store for us.
